Milan offers a wide range of universities, both public and private, with the best education systems in Italy. This is what makes it so famous among young people. Studying abroad is always an advantage, so here are the five best reasons to study in the capital of fashion.

  • Ease of public transportation

  • Milan's day and night life is hard to beat.
  • The best Italian universities are here
  • It has the best cultural centers in the country.

If you want to know more about the points we have just mentioned, we leave you here a very complete blog.

Where do students stay?

Before you jump into the adventure and start your student life in Milan, you need to think about and select the right accommodation. Choosing where to stay is an art. The choice depends on many factors, the budget, the type of housing solution, the neighborhood, etc.

In general it is not a cheap city to rent, so we recommend renting rooms. The perfect period is usually 3 to 6 months, which is how long the exchange programs usually last.

One of the biggest advantages of studying abroad is meeting people from all over the world. Make new friends, and build an international network around you. That is why we believe that the best solution is a shared apartment. Where you will meet new people, languages, cultures, etc.

Is studying in Milan expensive?

After the tips for your student life in Milan, we already know that it is an ideal city to launch your next adventure abroad. But now let's talk about prices.

The rental market in Milan is generally expensive. But with the alternative of renting a room, the price can range between 450 and 700€. We have to take into account the neighborhood, the characteristics of the room and the apartment, etc.

As an example, for a shared room with a single bed the price can be 300 or 400€. If on the other hand you are looking for something more for yourself like a studio or an apartment the price doubles.

That is why we believe it is the best solution for living in MIlán. Shared apartment allows you to live in the center and close to the main universities. Luxury and comfort are assured.
